  The Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, is expected to move for the adoption of the Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament next week. The Mid-Year Budget, which is the government’s supplementary estimate for the 2021 financial year, will be proposed to the House on Thursday 28 July. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the deputy Majority leader, announced this new on the floor of the House on Friday. The Finance Minister will also answer a question on the cost of President Akufo-Addo’s official trip to France, Belgium and South Africa in May this year. On Wednesday (21 July 2021), the minister will also tell the House if the government took a loan to finance the Free Senior High School policy.
